Twitter user @ShrimpApplePro claims that this solution is intended to create a new border, as was previously the case in the 16-inch and 14-inch MacBook Pro models.

Rumors about a titanium case for the iPhone have already appeared more than once before the release of the new model, this became especially true for the 14 model, while the iPhone 14 and its Pro Max version have a chassis made of stainless steel and aluminum.

Apple, with its actions to research titanium cases and obtain a patent for their use, only fuels such rumors. Due to the fact that titanium has increased scratch resistance and at the same time high strength, the use of this metal will be a good feature for new versions of the iPhone, MacBook, and iPod.
