Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Crosses 500,000 Players
In recent years, Capcom has primarily focused on its well-known franchises like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Street Fighter. Thus, when the company ventures into uncharted territory with new intellectual properties, it garners excitement from fans. This was certainly the case with the release of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess last month, an action-strategy game that has successfully caught players' attention.
In a recent update on Twitter, Capcom proudly stated that Kunitsu-Gami has garnered a player base of over 500,000 across all gaming platforms. It’s important to note that this number does not directly reflect sales figures, particularly since the game has been included in Game Pass since its launch. Nevertheless, reaching such a significant player count within a month for a new franchise is certainly an achievement.
To celebrate this milestone, Capcom has decided to reward players with a selection of in-game items, including Mazo Talisman: Jubilee, Dancing Crane, and a collaboration talisman featuring Okami’s Amaterasu.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available on various platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
