Fortnite Team Banned for Telling Epic Exec to Suicide

No matter what you know about Fortnite, you can understand that harassing the game’s executive is a very bad idea. However, a Fortnite tournament team member named Wrigley decided to see what would happen and tagged Donald Mustard in a tweet with a short “literally f*cking k!ll your$elf” message. The letters were replaced to bypass the auto-moderation algorithm. Donald received the message and the account of the competitor was deleted forever.
What is more surprising, the tweet from Wrigley was published right before he and two other members of his team were scheduled to participate in the grand finals. The team had spent weeks in challenging online battles to achieve this right to fight for almost $700,000! Wrigleys partners, Dictate and Userz, admitted that they had no idea why he did that. They tweeted: “What Wrigley did was completely out of our control, and we put an endless amount of time into the game for a chance at life-changing money.”
What do you think of Wrigley’s weird deed? Is it ok that Epic disqualifies the entire team for an inadequate behavior of a single member? Share the news with more Fortnite fans and let’s chat in the comments all together!
